The Bible will be studied using the inductive study method based on the book READ; a Bible Study Plan for Unpacking God’s Word by Cyndee Owenby. READ is an acronym for Record, Explore, Apply, and Do. An inductive Bible study attempts to answer the questions: Who, What, Why, Where, When, and to Whom. Passages of Scripture will be thoroughly explored and discussed. A simple weekly worksheet will be used to assist in learning and understanding Scripture. Purchase of the study guide is not required. The Bible study will begin with the book of John.

Introductory Bible Study Exploring How to Battle the Enemy: Meeting every other Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. beginning Sept. 16 in the lower level prayer room of the church led by James McPherson
This study will help us gain an understanding of Scripture through group discussion. We will explore the continuing threat of spiritual warfare in our daily lives. We must know our true enemy and his desire to bring sin into hearts and minds. The Bible can instruct us on how to battle evil and recognize the tactics of Satan. We will be exploring books including Genesis, Job, Matthew, Ephesians, and Revelation.
